• This is an IU Co-Sponsored Program
• Semester Program with IES Abroad Center in the historic center of Dublin

• IES "Irish Studies" track*
• IES "Writer's Program" track*
• Orientation with introduction to Irish language and culture
• 10-15 IES Abroad courses in humanities and social sciences taught by Irish professors for U.S. students
• Optional, unpaid 3-credit internship
  • ~13-22 hours per week
  • Placements in arts, business, media, politics, technology, theatre, event management, social entrepreneurship, social outreach, and education administration

• Private student residence with private bedroom and bathroom in a shared apartment

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• are academically prepared for courses available on this program (primarily 300-level social sciences and humanities courses)
• have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.

Financial Aid and Scholarships:

• IU scholarships, grants and loans applicable to program costs with some exceptions. Please carefully check these exceptions before you commit to a program.
• IES Abroad guaranteed aid of up to $7,000 (semester) or up to $3,000 (summer) based on confirmation of official FAFSA Expected Family Contribution. See details. Also see IES Abroad Scholarships and Aid available.
