- Summer Program with Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE)
- This summer program fulfills the IUB general education World Languages & Cultures requirement (College BA majors are still required to fulfill four semesters of a language)

- 4-credit Spanish language course
- 6 credits of reading, writing, and communication courses taught in Spanish at the CIEE center

- Housing
- Standard Housing: Includes a single room at a homestay, a double room at a shared apartment, or a double room at a student residency located within a 55-minute commute from CIEE Buenos Aires.
- Homestays: Homestays give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in authentic, day-to-day Argentine life by living with socially active hosts who encourage student independence. Homestays feature kitchen access for food storage, a living room, Wi-Fi, weekly laundry, and a bathroom shared with the host. Host families provide two meals a day.
- Shared Apartments: Shared apartments are modest in size and feature a few amenities, Wi-Fi access, maintenance repair services, bed linens, towels, and a kitchen. Meals are not included in apartments.
- Student Residencies: The student residency is modern, offers Wi-Fi access, and a shared kitchen. No meals are included in this option.
Select Housing: Includes a private room in a student residency or at a shared apartment located 35 minutes from CIEE Buenos Aires. Select housing requires an additional fee.

- Program Eligibility
You may apply if you:
- are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
- are in at least your third full-time semester of college
- have taken or are enrolled in second semester college-level Spanish with a B average
- have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA
Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.
Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.
Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.
