Amsterdam+London-CIEE

• "Comparative Public Health Systems (Amsterdam+London)" program* track
• Courses explore issues of health care from the Dutch and British perspectives

• London:
  • Meals are not provided, but cooking facilities are provided so students can prepare basic meals.
  • Standard Housing
    • Includes a compact double studio room at a student residence hall or a double room within a shared apartment.
    • Shared apartments feature a kitchen, bathroom, common areas, and laundry facilities shared with other students.
    • Residence halls feature common areas, a small kitchen, a shared bathroom, and laundry facilities.
    • Housing is located under 45 minutes from CIEE London.
  • Select Housing
    • Includes a double studio room at a student residence hall or a double room within a shared apartment, with an en-suite bathroom and a shared kitchen.
    • The residence hall feature common areas, study rooms, and laundry facilities shared with other students. The residence hall is located approximately 30 minutes from CIEE London.
    • Select housing requires an additional fee.

•  Amsterdam:
  • All housing is located within a 45-minute commute to CIEE Amsterdam Center and the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Cycling is the most common commute method.
  • Standard Housing
    • Residence Halls/Shared Apartments: Single rooms with en suite bathrooms and access to a shared kitchen and laundry facilities. Students are responsible for their own meals.
    • Homestays: Students live with a Dutch host family and immerse themselves in the local language and culture. Each student is placed in a single room and has access to shared common spaces. Families provide breakfast and have access to the kitchen for lunch and dinner. Students are expected to have at least one dinner per week with their host families and are responsible for all other meals.

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your second full-time semester of college
• have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.
