Prague-CIEE

• This is an IU Co-Sponsored Program
• Summer program with the Council on International Education Exchange (CIEE)

• CIEE "Central European Studies," Psychology” or Communications, New Media + Journalism” program track* 
• Courses taught in English at CIEE Prague Center for CIEE students only by faculty from Charles University   
• Courses available in art and architecture, media, political science, psychology, and Central European studies 
• Choose to participate in one of the following session combinations: 
  • one 3-credit course from Session I and one 3-credit course from Session II (May 19 to July 14, 2025) 
  • one 3-credit course from Session II and one 3-credit course from Session III (June 16 to August 9, 2025)

• CIEE Housing options include:
  • Standard housing
    • double or triple room in a residence hall
  • Select housing
    • double room in an apartment
  • Select Plus housing
    • single room in an apartment or residence hall
    • additional fee charged directly to students
• All housing options are located within 30 minutes of Prague's city center and CIEE Prague
• Note: Indiana University will not support plans for students to obtain independent housing. Students are required to live in program-provided housing in Prague

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your third full-time semester of college
• have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.
