Prague-CIEE Global Internship

• This is an IU Co-Sponsored Program
• Summer Internship Program at the Council on International Education Exchange (CIEE) Study Center in Prague

• "Summer Global Internship" Program track* 
• Unpaid, 6-credit internship project with accompanying seminar 
• Includes 45 academic course hours and 225-300 internship placement hours (minimum of 30-35 hours per week)  
• Placements in business and marketing, education and social justice, journalism and broadcasting, arts and culture, research and technology, cybersecurity, and more

• CIEE Housing options include:
  • Standard housing
    • double or triple room in an apartment shared with other CIEE students
  • Select Plus housing
    • single room in an apartment or residence hall
    • additional fee charged directly to students
• All housing options are located within 30 minutes of Prague's city center and CIEE Prague
• Note: Indiana University will not support plans for students to obtain independent housing. Students are required to live in program-provided housing in Prague.

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your second full-time semester of college
• have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.
