• IES Abroad “Business” and "Study London" Programs* 
• Orientation program on-site 
• IES Abroad courses in humanities and social sciences, taught by British professors for U.S. students 
• Outside course offerings at City St. George's, University of London, London Contemporary Dance School (Dance major or minor only) or Queen Mary University (2 courses max) 
• Optional, unpaid 3 credit internship 
  • ~16 hours / 2 days per week 
  • Placements in the arts, media, business, education, theater and politics 
  • Accompanying seminar meets bi-weekly for 2 hours 
  • Community-based learning practicum [service learning] 

The program will satisfy the IUB Gen Ed World Languages and Culture Requirement.

• Single room in an apartment style residence hall in central London with other American students.
  • Students have an en-suite bathroom and access to a common kitchen with other students on the same floor.
• Shared room in a residence hall
  • Students have a private bathroom and kitchen
• Students are required to live in program-provided housing in London.

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• are academically prepared for courses available on this program (primarily 300-level social sciences and humanities courses)
• have approximately a 3.0 cumulative GPA

Business majors must have (or will have) successfully completed the KSB prerequisites of the Business Integrative Core (or equivalent coursework at an IU campus outside Bloomington) by the start of the program

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.

Financial Aid and Scholarships:

• IU scholarships, grants and loans applicable to program costs with some exceptions. Please carefully check these exceptions before you commit to a program.

• IU Scott C. Schurz Study Abroad Scholarships of $2,500-$5,000
