• IES Abroad "Health Practice & Policy" Program* 
• Orientation program on-site 
• Students choose one course from the Study London course offerings in the humanities and social sciences. Courses taught by British professors for U.S. students. 
• One health-related course at a local university (Queen Mary University) 
• Final portion of Social Welfare Policy in the United Kingdom course taught at the West Indies School of Nursing, Mona in Jamaica on a 10-day field study  

The program will satisfy the IUB Gen Ed World Languages and Culture Requirement.

• Student residence hall in central London with other American students.
• Apartments in Kingston, Jamaica (during 10-day trip) with other program participants. 

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your third full-time semester of college
• are enrolled in a healthcare or health-policy field of study
• have approximately a 3.0 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.

Financial Aid and Scholarships:

• IU scholarships, grants and loans applicable to program costs with some exceptions. Please carefully check these exceptions before you commit to a program.
• IES Abroad guaranteed aid of up to $7,000 (semester) or up to $3,000 (summer) based on confirmation of official FAFSA Expected Family Contribution. See details. Also see IES Abroad Scholarships and Aid available.
