• Semester Program at Florence University of the Arts  with CIS Abroad

• Students enroll at Florence University of the Arts(FUA) with other U.S, local, and international students. 
• Courses taught in English in different fields such as: anthropology, art history, art and design, Italian language and culture, merchandising, nutrition, tourism and more 
• All students must take an Italian language class

• Note: Indiana University will not support plans for students to obtain independent housing. Students are required to live in program-provided housing in Florence.

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your third full-time semester of college
• have at least a 2.8 cumulative GPA

NOTE: Students who will have completed four semesters of Italian or more should consider programs in Bologna, Milan, and Rome.

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.
