All dates shown are approximate. Please meet with your study abroad advisor to confirm program dates. Note: Students enrolling in courses at local partner institutions would stay longer in Milan until all courses, including final exams, are completed.

• Courses taught in English at IES center for IES Abroad students only 
• IES Abroad "Business Studies" "Fashion Design & Merchandising" or "Italy Today" program tracks* 
• All students must take required 6-credit Italian language block; language level based on placement exam 
• Optional, unpaid 3-credit internship 
• Students can choose to take a courseat a local institution including: Milano Fashion Institute (Spring Only), Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Università degli Studi di Milano – Bicocca, Istituto di Moda Burgo, Università IULM, Arsutoria School, Istituto Europeo di Design

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA

No Italian language background required.

*Business majors must have (or will have) successfully completed the KSB prerequisites of the Business Integrative Core (or equivalent coursework at an IU campus outside Bloomington) by the start of the program

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.

Financial Aid and Scholarships:

• IU scholarships, grants and loans applicable to program costs with some exceptions. Please carefully check these exceptions before you commit to a program.
• IES Abroad guaranteed aid of up to $7,000 (semester) or up to $3,000 (summer) based on confirmation of official FAFSA Expected Family Contribution. See details. Also see IES Abroad Scholarships and Aid available.
