• This is an IU Co-Sponsored Program
• Summer "Architecture & Design" Program at the DIS Study Abroad in Scandinavia
• This summer program fulfills the IUB general education World Languages & Cultures requirement (College BA majors are still required to fulfill four semesters of a language)

• Courses taught in English by local faculty at the DIS Center for DIS students only
• Weeklong study tour to Finland & Sweden or Norway & Sweden
• Choose from following courses:

  •  Urban Design Studio

• Shared room in DIS housing spread across various neighborhoods and suburbs

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• have completed at least two Interior Design Studio courses (Interior Design Studio) or have a documented background in studio arts or graphic design, with at least one drawing course at the university level (Graphic Design Studio)
• have approximately a 3.0 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.
