• This summer program fulfills the IUB general education World Languages & Cultures requirement (College BA majors are still required to fulfill four semesters of a language)

  • Three to four IES students in double rooms. 
  • Fully equipped kitchens, wifi, washing machines
  • Placements are limited and an additional fee applies
• Homestay
  • Two to three IES students in a home with local residents and students share a double room.
  • Two meals a day (breakfast and dinner) provided

• Indiana University will not support plans for students to obtain independent housing. 

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your second full-time semester of college
• have taken or are enrolled in second semester college-level Spanish
• have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.

Financial Aid and Scholarships:
