• Summer Program with IES Abroad
• Center located at Palais Corbelli, an 18th-century palace in the heart of Vienna

• IES Abroad “Summer Music” program* 
• Courses taught in English and German for IES Abroad students only  
• Students may enroll in 6-10 credits on this program.  The program cost includes enrollment in 6 credits.  An extra fee of $175 per credit applies for any students taking more than 6 credits. These are charged directly to the student (not through the IU Bursar). 
• This program is restricted to students of Music and Music Technology.

• • IES Housing options include:
    • studio apartment
      • includes amenitites such as gym, on-site laundry, bike share, and more
    • single or double room in a shared apartment
  • Note: Indiana University will not support plans for students to obtain independent housing. Students are required to live in program-provided housing in Vienna.

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate music major at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• have completed Music T232 (with a grade of C or better) and Music T252
• have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA

Note: Performance majors also need approval of major performance study professor.

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.

Financial Aid and Scholarships:
