• Center located at Palais Corbelli, an 18th-century palace in the heart of Vienna

• IES Abroad "Vienna Summer Internship" program* 
• Unpaid, 6-credit internship project with accompanying seminar (with IES Abroad participants) 
• Internship placement of at least 30 hours/week, plus accompanying seminar 
  • Placements in the arts, business, consulting, history, international relations, museums, music, NGOs, psychology, sociology

• IES Housing options include:
  • studio apartment
  • includes amenitites such as gym, on-site laundry, bike share, and more
• Note: Indiana University will not support plans for students to obtain independent housing. Students are required to live in program-provided housing in Vienna.

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.

Financial Aid and Scholarships:

• IU Schurz Career Success Scholarship of $1,500-$2,500
