• Semester Program at the University of Sydney

• Full range of university courses in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and Australian Studies 
• All classes with Australian students 
• Small-group tutorials, term papers 
• Australian courses feature fewer assessments, though they have heavier weight to the final grade. 
• University of Sydney provides an extensive on-site orientation program, offering visits to local landmarks and informational sessions on such topics as safety and security in Sydney and Australia, cultural adjustment, and politics and current affairs in Australia.
• Optional, unpaid 4-credit internship

 The program will satisfy the IUB Gen Ed World Languages and Culture Requirement.

• Students live in fully furnished, shared apartments.

Students are required to live in program-provided housing in Sydney.

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• have approximately a 3.0 cumulative GPA

Business Majors must have successfully completed (or will complete) the KSB prerequisite of the Business Integrative Core (or equivalent coursework at an IU campus outside Bloomington) by the start of the program.

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.
