• This is an IU Co-Sponsored Program
• Summer Program with the London School of Economics and Political Science
• 7,000 Summer School students (approx. 1,000 from North America)
• Note: Indiana University students who wish to participate in the LSE Summer School must apply through Education Abroad by the IU application deadline. IU does not permit students to apply directly to LSE; our office will not sign program approval forms nor register students in a non-IU program placeholder course.

• Courses taken at London School of Economics and Political Science alongside British and international students* 
• Choose to participate in one of the following combinations: 
  • one course from Session I and one course from Session II (June 22 to August 1, 2025) 
  • one course from Session II and one course from Session III (July 13 to August 22, 2025) 

 *Note: IU students must take final examinations in order to earn a grade for each course. Failure to take the final examination will result in an "F" for that course.

• LSE Halls of Residence offer a wide variety of accommodations at varying costs
• Note: Indiana University will not support plans for students to obtain independent housing.

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your third full-time semester of college
• are academically prepared for courses available on this program (pre-requisites may apply for individual courses)
• have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA

• Note: Indiana University students who wish to participate in the LSE Summer School must apply through IU Education Abroad by the IU application deadline. Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.
