• Typical enrollment: 15-25 students from U.S. colleges and universities

• IES Abroad "European Union: Politics, Law, & Economics” summer program 
• Courses taught in English by local faculty at the IES Abroad Center for IES Abroad students only 
• Orientation program that includes basic German language instruction 
• Approximately 14 days of course-related excursions to different part of the EU (included in program)

• Residence hall accommodation in single or double room in co-ed suite shared with German and international students
• Single studio apartment (spots are limited and may include additional fees)

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• are taking (or have completed) at least one course in international politics or post-WWII European history
• have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.

Financial Aid and Scholarships:
