Oxford-St Anne's

This is an IU Co-Sponsored Program.

• Full range of courses in the humanities, social sciences, math, music and physical sciences at the University of Oxford (11,700 students among 38 colleges)
• Students interested in the pre-medical program need to have completed at least one semester of biochemistry (at least CHEM-C 483 or CHEM-C 484) and two semesters of organic chemistry (CHEM-C 341/342) by the time of participation on the program
• Ideal for students to take courses in their major and/or minor
• Course work is the same as degree-seeking students at Oxford
• Academic tutor assists students with scheduling and course selection
• Highly competitive admissions process, particularly for popular majors (i.e. English and Biochemistry)
• 2-4 IU students

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• have significant background (12-15 credits) in a field you can pursue at Oxford
• have at least a 3.7 cumulative GPA

Students considering the pre-medical program need to have completed at least one semester of biochemistry (at least CHEM-C 483 or CHEM-C 484) and two semesters of organic chemistry (CHEM-C 341/342) by the time of participation on the program.

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of Education Abroad. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.

  • IU administrative fee and insurance: $545.91
• Room and Board in Britain: $10,000
• International airfare: $1,200

* The exact tuition amount will be based on your academic discipline, certain courses carry an extra fee.  Note: Estimates based on the conversion of $1.39 = 1 BP. Airfare, personal expenses, and vacation travel additional. Initial prepayment of $500 due March 1, 2021 for the academic year.
